Checkers?

Checkers The Clown is very popular and usually book up about 2 weeks in
advance on a first come first served basis. Checkers strongly
recommend that you book as soon as you know the exact party
date/time and location.
Q) Is Checkers the cheapest clown in
D/FW?
A) No. Beware of clowns who always beat their competitors with a cheaper
price, just to fill up their schedule, then drop parties one at a time
as better deals come through. You may find yourself having a party
without a clown!
Q) Is Checkers the fastest ballooner, or
face painter in town?
A) No. Remember, this is not a race, this is a
party. The whole idea is for the kids to have fun. Checkers is one
of the nicest clowns you will ever meet. Always showing up on time and
in a good mood, Checkers is kid friendly and kid safe. Checkers use to
be a Girl Scout Assistant Troup Leader when his daughter was in the Girl
Scouts. He has passed all background checks.
Q) What forms of payment does Checkers accept?

Credit cards
online through PayPal for the deposit, or you can mail in your deposit
in the form of a check or money order. Then you can pay cash or check at the event for the
balance.
Q) Will Checkers work outdoors? Does is cost any more?
A) Yes,
Checkers works
outdoors all the time for no extra fee.
Q) When I hire Checkers, do I need to provide anything special?

Q) What kind of paint does Checkers use for
face painting?
A) Checkers uses a special paint designed for faces. It's
called Paradise Makeup AQ made by Mehron. Made in the USA, each small
color container cost $10. Q) Are
my kids too old, or too young for a clown?
A) If you are going to
have kids between 3 and 8 at the party, then Checkers The Clown is a
good choice. If your kids are 9 and up, Checkers recommends
Checkers The Magician. (Same person, same price, the act is adjusted for the older kids). Q)
What If I decide that I want more than one clown at my party?
A)
Checkers has lots of clown friends, and can arrange for extra clowns
when needed. Q) How much
"set-up" time will Checkers Need?
A) Checkers will arrive
about 5 minutes before the actual "starting time" to set
everything up. Q) My party starts
at 3pm, when should Checkers The Clown arrive?
A) Checkers recommends
about 30 minutes after the start of your party. People generally
run late for parties. Q) Who is "Checkers The Clown"

John Fite: Born and raised in
Dallas TX. In 1971 at the age of 17 became a pilot. At the
age of 21 earned a "black belt" in "Kenpo" karate,
and owned several martial arts studios during the 1980s. In 2007
John was inducted into the Kenpo Karate Hall of Fame. John has
worked with kids, either teaching them or entertaining them for more
than 35 years. John has one daughter who often helps him by attending
